Disability Management Services
Our proactive disability management services focuses on plans that prevent time away from work due to illness or injury and can include: Ergonomic Assessment, Specialist and Assessment referral, Treatment Coordination, Modified or Transitional Duties as well as Return to Work Coordination.
In the vocational rehabilitation process, there are often questions, and/or concerns in regards to the employee’s injury that are not originally addressed in the patient and physician appointment. Return To Work Services (RTWS) offers disability case management services, which can involve assistance and coordination of services. We communicate with treating physicians and the injured worker to support and manage the vocational rehabilitation effort. The advantages include reducing the possibility of miscommunication among involved parties and minimizing lost time from work.
- Identify activity restrictions & physical capacities related to the injured worker’s ability to return to current job and for future employment.
- Identification of complex injuries not addressed in the patient and physician appointment.
- Identification of possible “light duty” or transitional work positions.
- RU-94 Form Preparation.
- Form 10133.53 preparation/ Notice of alternative/ modified work.
